9:38 AM – Selling my entire EXPD position early this morning. I typically avoid making trades before 10:00 AM, allowing the market time to settle after the opening volatility. However, within the ULTRA Personal Portfolio, I will occasionally act ahead of an official SELL SIGNAL when I believe the technical evidence warrants it. In this case, the stock is beginning to carve out a bearish pattern characterized by (1) a series of lower highs, (2) a break below the 10 DMA, and (3) the 10 DMA beginning to roll over. Rather than wait for additional technical deterioration, I’m taking a small profit and moving on to stronger opportunities.
