MON 6/22: UNF – SELLING (1/3) P/L: -$415.01 -4.2%

3:45 PM – Selling another 1/3 of my UNF position as the 10 DMA continues to roll over. A declining 10 DMA is often an early sign that momentum is fading, and I want to continue reducing exposure as the stock’s technical condition deteriorates.

James’ Trader’s Tip: Pay Attention to the Direction of the Trend

  • Moving averages provide more information than just support and resistance levels.

  • A rising 10 DMA typically confirms a healthy uptrend, while a falling 10 DMA can signal weakening momentum.

  • When the trend begins to turn against you, reducing exposure can help preserve capital and flexibility.
